Mu Theta Chartering Ceremony - University of the
Incarnate Word - April 1, 2007
Chi Phi College of Excellence (COE), University of Las Vegas Nevada, Las Vegas,
NV.
June 13-17, 2007
Be a more aware citizen. Become a more able person. Be a stronger Chi Phi.
In July of 1988, Chi Phi Fraternity began transforming the Krannert
Leadership School into the amazing personal growth experience that it is today.
Now known as the Chi Phi College of Excellence (COE), this nationally recognized
fraternal leadership academy has become the pinnacle event of Chi Phi
Fraternity.
Nineteen years and thousands of participants later, this week-long event has
evolved through the input of its participants, the experience of its
predecessors, and the insight of the interfraternity world. Once designed to
provide only the most basic "nuts and bolts" of Chapter operations, COE has
become a comprehensive, life-changing experience. In short, Chi Phi brothers
become more aware citizens, more able people, and better Chi Phis.
The 142nd Chi Phi Congress, Las Vegas, NV
June 21-24, 2007
Congress is the Supreme authority of our organization. Each June,
approximately 150 Chi Phis and their guests come together for a weekend of Chi
Phi business, culture, and fun. The Grand Council, Board of Governors, Trustees,
National Staff, and Chapter Delegates from around the country form the
democratic body that directs and oversees our organization. Every Chapter is
represented by two voting delegates, every Colony and Alumni Association by one.
The 142nd Congress will:
- Set the direction of the Fraternity for the coming year
- Review the progress of the Fraternity
- Elect new Governors
- Adopt the annual budget for the 2007 fiscal year
- Present Chi Phi's 2006-07 awards for Chapter and individual excellence
- Award the 2007 Walter Cronkite Congressional Award
- Hold the annual Congressional Banquet
